On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for three Solution Architects (Defence - SC Clearance) for a 12 Months contracts based in Bristol.

Job description - the role

Purpose of the role:

As Solution Architect you wull join a major transformation programme delivering multiple strategic projects across a complex enterprise environment. Working across a portfolio of initiatives, you will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions while providing technical leadership to project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Design and own end-to-end solution architectures across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and architecture standards.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to project teams, suppliers, and integration partners.
• Produce and maintain architectural artefacts, including conceptual designs, high-level architectures, and low-level solution documentation.
• Collaborate with Programme Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to shape future technology roadmaps and solution decisions.
• Support planning, estimation, governance, and delivery activities across a complex portfolio of transformation projects.

The skills you'll need:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within large-scale transformation or enterprise technology programmes.
• Strong cloud architecture experience, ideally within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience designing and supporting hybrid infrastructure solutions, including on-premise technologies and VMware.
• Ability to create conceptual architecture, high-level designs, and solution roadmaps for complex business environments.
• Experience working in Defence or secure government environments.
• Active or recently held SC Clearance.
