Overview

As a Solution Data Architect, you will shape scalable data architectures aligned to enterprise standards and lead data design across projects. You’ll partner with enterprise architects, the Chief Data Office, and stakeholders to ensure robust data models, governance, and compliant integration. You’ll influence data practices, deliver reusable design patterns, and support strategic data exchange across systems. This role offers a chance to contribute to a customer-driven, transformation-focused insurance platform.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver solution data architectures aligned to enterprise standards
  • Develop and maintain solution data models, dictionaries and integration designs
  • Support canonical data exchange across strategic systems
  • Act as the project-level data architecture lead and provide guidance to stakeholders
  • Embed data governance and Data Protection by Design principles
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data architecture practices and patterns
Key requirements
  • Advanced data modelling and architectural design skills
  • Hands-on experience with data modelling tools (Erwin beneficial)
  • Strong understanding of data integration patterns, middleware, and database technologies
  • Knowledge of data protection, governance frameworks and secure design
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or other data catalogues
  • Experience with master and reference data management tools (e.g., Ataccama, Profisee) desirable
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Databricks, Power BI)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience delivering solution-level data architecture across complex projects
