Overview

In this Solutions Engineer role at OneSpan, you act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating business goals into actionable technical solutions. You will lead discovery, design compelling architectures, and deliver demonstrations that tie technology to measurable business value. You’ll partner with Sales to drive opportunities, manage technical relationships, and stay ahead of industry trends. This role offers a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment within a fast-moving, customer-centric company.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales to drive engagements from discovery through technical validation
  • Lead discovery sessions to uncover goals, challenges, and success criteria
  • Translate needs into solution strategies that deliver business value
  • Design, whiteboard, and present solution architectures for technical and business stakeholders
  • Deliver demos, workshops, and proofs-of-concept
  • Build trusted customer, prospect, and partner relationships
  • Support RFx responses and technical aspects of the sales cycle
  • Manage technical relationships with regional partner ecosystem
  • Provide customer feedback to Product and Engineering
  • Stay current on industry trends and participate in events
  • Move opportunities forward to help customers succeed
Key requirements
  • Experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or similar roles
  • Ability to connect technical capabilities to business outcomes
  • Strong listening, presentation, storytelling, and communication skills
  • Experience leading workshops, whiteboarding, and executive conversations
  • Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, REST, and JSON
  • Experience in cybersecurity, digital identity, authentication, fraud prevention, or related domains
  • Basic scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
  • Confidence in engaging with both senior leaders and technical teams
  • Willingness to travel within the UKI region (~25%)
