Overview

In this role you help customers modernise data estates and unlock value through AI and the Microsoft Data & AI platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to design scalable cloud, data, and AI solutions that enable migration, modernisation, and AI-grounded decision-making. You’ll engage executives and technical stakeholders, showcasing platform capabilities and driving measurable outcomes. This position offers exposure to leading organisations and opportunities to shape enterprise data & analytics architectures.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic customer engagements to modernise data, analytics, and AI platforms for business outcomes
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor translating business challenges into scalable cloud/data/AI solutions
  • Design and deliver demos, workshops, architecture reviews, and PoC engagements
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, engineering, and partners to accelerate transformation
  • Guide customers in adopting modern data platforms, governance, and AI-enabled experiences
  • Build relationships with technical and business stakeholders to influence decisions
  • Contribute to competitive strategies, technical readiness, and solution innovation
  • Mentor peers and contribute to technical communities to foster continuous learning and inclusion
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data Science, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, consulting, data engineering, analytics, or cloud tech roles
  • Experience designing or implementing enterprise-scale data, database, and analytics solutions
  • Experience engaging with technical and business stakeholders in customer-facing environments
  • Strong communication of complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Collaborative and influential stakeholder management
  • Problem-solving oriented with customer obsession
  • Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB
  • Database migration and modernization tooling, estate assessment, heterogeneous migrations
  • End-to-end analytics with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/Warehouse, Data Factory, Spark/notebooks, semantic models, Power BI, Real-Time Intelligence)
