Solution Engineer - Emerging Enterprise FS

In this role you help customers adopt Snowflake to solve complex data challenges, working with sales teams and partners to evaluate and select Snowflake. You translate technical features into business solutions, present to executives and technical audiences, and drive technical wins through demos, PoCs, and deployments. You stay at the cutting edge of Snowflake technology while continually learning and shaping how data-driven decisions are made. You’ll collaborate across product, engineering, and marketing to improve offerings and positioning, and engage with ecosystems to advance customer success.

• Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake value throughout the sales cycle (demo, PoC, design, implementation)
• Develop technical champions in accounts to drive deals and technical wins
• Stay at the forefront of Snowflake technology and present roadmap features
• Understand and position Snowflake relative to competitive technologies
• Collaborate with other solution engineers to share learnings from wins and losses
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and marketing
• Represent Snowflake at industry or customer events
• Work with ecosystem and implementation partners to build joint architectures and account strategies
• Contribute to and help co-develop Account & territory plans and engage the broader ecosystem

• Solution engineering/solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant analytics/data domain experience
• Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences
• Understanding of data architecture, data analytics and cloud technology
• Hands-on experience with SQL
• Ability to map customer problems to Snowflake solutions
• Strong customer-facing communication skills (written and verbal)
