Solution Engineer - FSI

As Solution Engineer for a strategic global financial services account, you join Snowflake’s embedded technical team to drive end-to-end technical sales and post-sale expansion. You tailor demonstrations, guide PoCs, and align Snowflake capabilities with the customer’s data challenges. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions across risk analytics, regulatory platforms, fraud, and AI/ML workloads. This role combines technical depth with strategic impact in a fast-moving, AI-enabled environment.

• Lead end-to-end technical sales engagements for a single strategic Global Account in financial services
• Create and deliver tailored demos and solution presentations aligned to customer data challenges and business objectives
• Design and execute PoC engagements for financial services use cases (risk analytics, regulatory data platforms, fraud detection, customer intelligence, AI/ML workloads)
• Build knowledge of the customer’s data architecture, cloud environment, and tech stack to position Snowflake credibly
• Support Account Executive on day-to-day deal activity, including technical responses to RFPs and removing blockers
• Coordinate with Professional Services, Support, and Product teams to ensure timely resource delivery
• Develop relationships with the customer’s data engineers, architects, and managers as a trusted technical advisor

• 5+ years in pre-sales solution engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting in enterprise B2B technology with exposure to financial services
• Foundational understanding of cloud data platforms and modern data architectures, with willingness to go deeper quickly
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for scripting, PoC pipelines, and customer-facing environments
• Clear communication skills to translate technical concepts for both engineering and business audiences
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams within an active sales cycle
• Genuine curiosity about AI and data technology and eagerness to develop expertise in Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities in FSI contexts
