Solutions Architect

In this role you guide customers to design scalable, reliable data solutions using MongoDB, collaborating with cross-functional teams to win deals and accelerate adoption. You’ll act as a trusted advisor from startups to large enterprises, translating complex tech into business value and ensuring customer success. This is a hands-on pre-sales role that blends architecture, demos, and strategic insights to drive growth. • Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies for MongoDB
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive account success through planning, qualification, and pipeline strategy
• Lead technical discovery, demos, proofs of value, presentations, sizing and documentation
• Proactively generate demand within the sales territory through technical initiatives and events
• Foster strong customer relationships, build champions, and ensure customer success and satisfaction
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and contribute to process improvements
• Stay abreast of MongoDB product suite and industry trends through ongoing training

• 5 to 8 years of related industry experience
• 2 years minimum in a customer-facing role
• 2+ years experience with modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or languages (C/C++, Java, C#)
• Experience implementing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem
• Ability to review complex architectures with customers and provide guidance on improvements
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with a cross-functional sales team and travel up to 25%
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
