Solutions Architect

In this role, you design secure digital defence solutions for UK MoD and international customers, aligning technical designs with customer needs. You collaborate across bids, sales, and third parties to craft innovative, value-for-money solutions. You’ll analyse complex problems, produce high/low-level designs, and contribute to compelling pre-sales proposals. You operate at the cutting edge of military technology, shaping secure capabilities and supporting critical missions.

• Design end-to-end military digital defence solutions meeting customer needs
• Collaborate with bidding, sales, and third parties to propose innovative, competitive, and value-for-money solutions
• Document high- and low-level designs aligned with customer requirements
• Write technical proposals to support bids and pre-sales
• Present solutions and influence customer strategies and requirements
• Horizon scan current and emerging tech trends and innovations

• Proven experience across defence domains for UK MoD and NATO programmes (land, naval or air)
• Experience delivering UK MoD, NATO or wider international defence projects with on-time, on-budget delivery
• Familiarity with relevant UK MoD and/or NATO standards
• Strong technical depth across digital technologies and integration strategies for military platforms
• Ability to analyse problems, research solutions, and make timely technical decisions
• Commercial awareness and ability to design operationally effective, value-for-money solutions
