Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect on the Sales, Trading and Prime team, you will bridge technical field engagement with hands-on software development to scale Coinbase’s B2B offerings. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, collaborate with sales, and extend core products through open source and SDKs. The role involves leading end-to-end customer implementations and shaping solutions across complex, evolving needs. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to unlock strategic client opportunities, contributing to Coinbase’s mission of increasing economic freedom. This is a high-impact, coding-focused role in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with periodic in-person surges.

• Partner with customers as a trusted technical advisor and guide them on using Coinbase services and APIs
• Collaborate with sales teams to address technical requirements and support deal closure
• Architect distributed systems solutions and build open source SDKs and reference implementations
• Lead customer implementations end-to-end, resolve roadblocks, and coordinate with support teams
• Drive collaboration with product and engineering to extend core capabilities for strategic opportunities

• Degree in computer science
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Expert-level proficiency with REST and WebSocket APIs and production experience with Golang
• Experience designing and building integration solutions across modern and legacy systems
• Ability to translate complex technical needs into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience with blockchain, crypto, or trading systems
• Ability to scope customer requirements independently and deliver solutions under tight timelines
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight
