Job Title: Solutions Architect – Payment Gateway & Digital Commerce

Job Description/Summary:

• Design end-to-end solution architecture for omnichannel digital commerce, payment platforms, and enterprise application integrations.
• Architect scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions using AWS, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Lead technical design for payment gateway implementations, checkout integrations, and high-volume transactional applications.
• Partner with engineering, product, security, and third-party vendors to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Define application architecture, system dependencies, data flows, and technical standards through implementation and deployment.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, application architecture, or solution architecture.
• Hands-on experience architecting merchant payment gateway implementations and payment application integrations.
• Strong experience with enterprise eCommerce, digital checkout, and high-volume transaction processing.
• Experience designing solutions across web, mobile, and integrated POS or kiosk environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise application integrations.
• Experience defining technical architecture, security requirements, scalability, and system reliability.

Preferred

• Experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other high-volume transaction environments.
• Experience with payment gateway replacement or modernization initiatives.
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies and cloud-native application architecture. xhqgsiq
• Strong communication skills working across engineering, business, and external technology partners.
