Overview

As a Software Solutions Architect, you will lead agile development teams to design and deliver scalable digital solutions. You will collaborate with customer stakeholders and enterprise architects to shape functional and non-functional designs, guiding complexity, effort estimation, and trade-offs. In this hands-on leadership role, you mentor engineers, drive performance, and contribute to the broader technology strategy. This position offers involvement in large-scale digital transformation and the opportunity to influence architecture standards and modern tooling. You will be at the intersection of technical leadership and people management, turning strategy into impactful software.

Responsibilities
  • lead high-performing, agile development teams to deliver scalable software
  • collaborate with customer stakeholders and enterprise architects to shape designs
  • balance functional and non-functional requirements (security, performance, scalability) in designs
  • provide strategic guidance throughout the development lifecycle
  • mentor and develop junior engineers and foster a positive team culture
  • contribute to architectural standards and the broader technology strategy
  • advocate for modern tools and techniques and support large-scale digital transformation
  • influence projects across multiple teams and programmes
Key requirements
  • experience delivering designs for scalable, multi-tiered applications
  • strong end-to-end solution architecture and stakeholder communication
  • ability to integrate non-functional requirements (security, performance, scalability)
  • hands-on experience with major public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), including SaaS and PaaS
  • excellent verbal and written communication, including documentation and presentations
  • decisiveness in fast-paced, agile delivery environments
  • track record mentoring engineers and contributing to a positive team culture
