In this Solutions Architect role, you will shape the Council’s business architecture to support residents, businesses and communities. You will translate strategy into future capabilities and operating models, guiding large-scale transformation and investment decisions. You’ll collaborate with Enterprise, Business and Technical Architects and senior leaders to deliver value-driven roadmaps and governance. The role offers impact across services, with a focus on sustainable change and organisational growth.

- Analyse business strategy to define future capability requirements
- Develop business architecture artefacts and target operating models
- Co-create strategic roadmaps and governance for change programmes
- Lead architecture work packages and mentor colleagues
- Support transformation initiatives and ensure investment aligns with long-term priorities
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across services and directorates to influence decisions
- In-depth understanding of business architecture, enterprise architecture and organisational change from strategic transformation experience
- Strong experience with business modelling techniques including capabilities, processes and operating models
- Knowledge of BPMN, LEAN and UML; methods and tools for business/systems analysis
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps and deliverables guiding organisational change and investment
