Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect at BAE Systems, you will design and govern IT solutions for the Naval Ships environment, ensuring architecture health and standard adoption. You will lead technical authority and shape how applications support business processes within cost and schedule constraints. The role involves capturing current and target architectures and guiding change and configuration governance. You’ll work on international programmes and help drive digital transformation in a manufacturing setting, with flexible on-site/hybrid work. • Define solution architecture and design within project constraints and reference frameworks
• Capture as-is and to-be architectures for applications, data, and technology
• Provide Project Technical Authority leadership and ensure design alignment
• Govern change and configuration management to support ongoing health of the IT estate

• Understanding of IT/software development lifecycle and governance processes (e.g., Agile)
• Proven design, development, and deployment experience of major IT applications
