Overview
As a Senior Solutions Architect in a global IT consultancy, you shape enterprise-scale solution architectures across cloud, microservices, and integration domains. You will partner with sales, practice and delivery teams to translate complex business needs into actionable architectures and roadmaps. You’ll work on cloud migration, platform modernization, and modern development practices to deliver scalable, secure solutions. This role offers impact through leadership in pre-sales, proposal development, and trusted advisory engagement with business and IT leaders.
Responsibilities- Support pre-sales with solution architecture, proposals, and effort estimation
- Translate requirements into architecture diagrams, roadmaps, and delivery approaches
- Engage with business and IT to align architecture with strategic direction
- Build trusted advisor relationships with executives and delivery teams
- Lead ongoing alignment with the solution vision throughout project lifecycles
- Collaborate across global delivery teams in client-driven, large-scale projects
- Contribute to architecture modeling and use of relevant tools
- 20+ years in Solutions Architecture or equivalent enterprise architecture roles
- Experience in client-facing, large-scale application platform implementations
- Bachelor in Engineering (or Master/ equivalent)
- Cloud experience with AWS or Azure
- Strong knowledge of microservices, containers, REST APIs, and API management
- Proficiency with Java/J2EE or .NET and databases (Oracle, MySQL)
- Exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) and polyglot languages (Scala, Python, Golang)
- Agile/Scrum experience; DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation
- TOGAF familiarity is desired but not required
- Willingness to travel up to ~40%
