Overview

In this role, you will partner with AWS customers across Enterprise Energy, Industrials, and Semiconductors to drive business value through cloud and AI adoption. You act as a trusted technical advisor, shaping reference architectures and best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll educate customers, author prescriptive guidance, and influence AWS product roadmaps with the voice of the customer. This is a hands-on role at scale, blending technology with business outcomes in a diverse, inclusive culture.

Responsibilities
  • Accelerate customer projects by recommending best-practice architectures aligned to long-term outcomes
  • Own and manage the technical relationship with the customer as their trusted advisor
  • Represent the voice of the customer to influence AWS feature and service roadmaps
  • Create and capture best practices, technical content, and reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts)
  • Evangelise AWS technology through workshops, user groups, and public speaking
  • Mentor and develop team members; contribute to hiring decisions and area depth in technical domains
  • Develop depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes
Key requirements
  • Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries
  • Experience in cloud computing and/or AWS technologies from a development/operational perspective
  • Proven ability to work across technology domains (software development, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • Experience in migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
  • Preferred: experience in software development or Internet-related industries
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Public speaking and workshop facilitation
  • Collaborative and cross-functional collaboration
  • Cloud architecture design and implementation
  • Data & analytics solutions on cloud
  • Security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
