Solutions Architect (AWS + AI)

Iris's client, one of the world's largest multinational Investment banking and financial services corporations, is looking to hire a Solutions Architect opportunity.

Work location: Toronto ON (Hybrid Onsite – 2 to 3 days a week office)

Key Responsibilities

• Design architecture that meets functional and non-functional requirements such as high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Evaluate and modernize legacy applications by mapping target states to modern microservices, containerization and serverless patterns.
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture teams to align solution designs with the Enterprise standards (Align / Review / Design solution architecture in line with Bank approved guidelines and patterns)
• Design and implement high-performance, cloud-native architectures and scalable enterprise data platforms on AWS
• Define data blueprints and AI solution frameworks that drive predictive analytics, automation, and real-time intelligence.
• Work closely/collaboratively with dev teams to architect solutions that meet enterprise standards

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in IT systems design, with at least 3+ years dedicated as a Solution Architect managing cloud, data, or AI architecture.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience on the AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
