Solutions Architect – Databricks (Remote)

We partner with global enterprises to design and build large‑scale data platforms that power digital products used by millions of users. Our work involves complex data ecosystems, cloud‑native architectures, and high‑volume, high‑impact use cases.

What You’ll Do

• Design end‑to‑end data architectures on AWS, with Databricks at the core
• Own architectural decisions across data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform integrations
• Translate complex business and product requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
• Define standards, patterns, and best practices for building with PySpark, Python, SQL, and Databricks
• Act as a technical leader and advisor for engineering teams
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and long‑term scalability
• Review designs and implementations to ensure performance, security, reliability, and cost efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, or related roles
• Proven experience designing enterprise‑grade data platforms and architectures
• Deep, hands‑on expertise with Databricks (production and architectural experience required), AWS, PySpark, Python, and SQL
• Strong understanding of distributed data systems, cloud‑native architecture principles, and data modeling and integration patterns
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Fluent English, both written and spoken

Location

Fully remote. Candidates must be based in Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.
