Overview

In this role you own the technical win for AI-first customers, guiding discovery, demos, POCs, and rapid implementation of usage-based billing. You work cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and product to move deals forward, while delivering hands-on setup and concrete implementation plans. You’ll build AI market expertise, advising on pricing and packaging, and help customers go live quickly in a high-velocity, startup-like environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical win from inbound leads through discovery, demos, POC, and final close
  • Conduct efficient discovery to understand billing challenges and timelines
  • Drive deals with urgency and build cross-functional relationships to create champions
  • Deliver streamlined demos tailored to technical founders and engineering teams
  • Provide customers with clear implementation plans for usage-based billing launches
  • Write code snippets, configuration examples, and integration guides to accelerate value
  • Pair program or work alongside customer teams during POCs and initial setup
  • Design robust yet pragmatic up/downstream integrations to get customers live quickly
  • Build deep AI market expertise and advise on monetization strategies for AI companies
  • Stay current on AI industry trends, pricing models, and competitive dynamics
  • Operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment that influences AI infrastructure monetization

Key requirements
  • 3+ years in technical, customer-facing SaaS roles (e.g., sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical account management, implementation consulting)
  • 1+ years working with or selling to AI companies
  • Proven ability to own and drive customer-facing engagements independently
  • Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn new systems, write code snippets, and guide implementations
  • Experience in high-velocity environments where speed-to-value matters
  • Excellent communication with technical buyers (engineers, product managers, founders)
  • Energy and urgency in engagements
