Solutions Architect Power Platform

In this role you will lead architectural efforts for strategic business IT initiatives, focusing on Power Platform solutions. You collaborate with analysts, product owners and teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable designs. You will define governance, environments and integration patterns, guiding multi-domain architectures across cloud and on-premise boundaries. You’ll engage senior stakeholders as a trusted adviser to drive enterprise transformation and architecture roadmaps.

• Lead architecture on strategic projects involving Power Platform and related business applications
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners and project teams to define functional and non-functional requirements
• Design secure, scalable Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Copilot Studio)
• Define platform governance including environment strategy, security, DLP, connectors, lifecycle management and monitoring
• Model cross-domain solutions across applications, data, security, cloud and infrastructure
• Evaluate when Power Platform, Azure or custom development is appropriate for business needs
• Design integrations between Power Platform, M365, Dynamics 365, Azure and other enterprise systems
• Present designs to architecture governance forums for review and approval
• Support enterprise architects in roadmaps and technology platforms
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders as a trusted architecture adviser throughout the lifecycle

• Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform architecture and governance (environment strategy, security, DLP, lifecycle management)
• Broad solution design experience across UX, applications, integration, data and cloud services
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and integration with M365 and wider enterprise environments
• Ability to assess requirements and determine appropriate architectural approaches (Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or custom development)
• Effective interpersonal skills and experience engaging senior stakeholders and facilitating design discussions
• Ability to produce concise high-level designs and governance-aligned documentation
• Experience with non-functional requirements (security, availability, performance, scalability, monitoring)
• Experience presenting designs through governance processes (Architecture Review Boards, TDA)
