Overview

As a Search Solutions Architect at Elastic, you design and deploy cutting-edge search solutions that combine AI, semantic search, and vector search. You will leverage ELSER and related technologies to deliver high-impact data retrieval experiences for enterprise customers. The role includes delivering POCs, evangelizing Elastic’s AI-powered search vision, and collaborating across engineering, data science, and domain experts. You will stay at the frontier of AI-enabled search, shaping how organizations unlock data insights at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Architect next-generation search solutions using AI, semantic search, and vector search technologies (RAG, vector databases, emerging tools).
  • Leverage ELSER to improve search accuracy and efficiency in data retrieval.
  • Implement high-dimensional vector representations to enable effective search with imprecise queries.
  • Deliver compelling POCs demonstrating AI, semantic search, vector search, and ELSER value.
  • Evangelize Elastic’s vision through talks, blogs, and other channels.
  • Foster collaboration within the Solutions Architecture team and with other departments.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and industry experts to push AI-powered search solutions forward.
  • Engage in continuous learning to keep solutions at the cutting edge of AI, semantic search, and related tech.
Key requirements
  • 10+ years in designing and architecting enterprise-level search solutions.
  • Deep understanding of AI and semantic search, with focus on RAG, vector search, and NLP.
  • Familiarity with Hugging Face, Langchain, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of ELSER architecture and Hugging Face ecosystem models.
  • Experience with vector databases and emerging data storage solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset and passion for sharing knowledge.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of tech trends.
  • Fluency in Spanish would be an advantage.
