In this role you shape and progress technology solutions for IMG across client contracts, opportunities, and transformation initiatives. You will bridge commercial and technical teams, translate requirements into architecture, and lead or coordinate proof-of-concept activities. You collaborate with DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and procurement to ensure usable, secure, and scalable solutions aligned with IMG standards. The position offers exposure to pre-sales, RFI/RFP processes, and strategic technology choices that drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities- Shape technically credible solution options with commercial relevance for current contracts and new pursuits
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into architectural direction and proposals
- Lead technical input into RFI/RFP processes, including market engagement and vendor evaluation
- Define internal and client-facing solutions aligned with IMG's business model and service proposition
- Produce architectural artefacts, blueprints, and business-case documentation
- Evaluate technologies, delivery models, and total cost of ownership for fit and risk
- Ensure proposed solutions are deliverable, secure, and aligned with IMG standards
- Support vendor engagement, including proof of concepts and demonstrations
- Communicate solution intent, trade-offs, costs, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders
- Coordinate transition from concept to implementation and ensure operational readiness
- Contribute to IMG Studios’ technology stack evolution across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role in media, broadcast, technology or complex enterprise environments
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, supportable technical solutions
- Experience collaborating with both commercial and technical teams on opportunities and procurement
- Experience responding to RFI/RFPs, bids, or vendor selection processes
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and integration patterns
- Knowledge of APIs, workflow orchestration, identity, security, and operational support considerations
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to produce executive-ready content and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines
- Commercially aware and outcome-focused
- Strong collaboration across business, engineering, and leadership teams
- Curious and strategic with constructive challenge when needed
