Solutions Consultant

We are currently looking for a Solutions Consultant to work in our Cardiff team, this role will work within the Strategic Account team.

We are open to this role being a Junior or Mid level - however we will need to see experience in the below to be considered.

Location: Cardiff (Hybrid - 50% office attendance)

About the Opportunity

As a Junior Technical Sales Consultant, you’ll join our Strategic Account Success team and gain hands-on experience working with enterprise clients globally. You’ll support senior colleagues in implementing bespoke solutions, learn how to act as a subject matter expert for APIs, integrations, and file deliveries, and develop the foundations to grow into a fully independent consultant.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support senior consultants in client discovery sessions, helping to capture business requirements and technical use cases.
• Assist in building and testing bespoke solutions using technologies such as Python, S3, and automation platforms.
• Learn to work with SOAP/REST APIs, SFTP file systems, and cloud-based tools.
• Provide day-to-day support on implementations under supervision, ensuring smooth delivery.
• Document and maintain technical specifications for smaller projects.
• Participate in team whiteboarding and problem-solving sessions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the team.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstratable ability to write clean and efficient code (Python preferred).
• Knowledge of APIs, file transfer systems, and databases (academic or personal project experience welcomed).
• Excellent communication skills, with a willingness to learn how to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
• A curiosity for business data and credit reporting, with a proactive approach to self-learning.
• Ability to plan work, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
