Overview

As a Senior Business Applications Consultant, you will shape and deliver digital commerce solutions, specialising in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and/or Oracle Commerce Cloud. You will lead end-to-end eCommerce design, integration, and governance, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive growth and innovation. You’ll translate complex requirements into scalable, secure architectures while mentoring the team and championing best practices. This role offers impact across digital strategy, enterprise architecture, and cross-functional delivery within Canon’s inclusive, sustainability-focused culture.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and govern end-to-end eCommerce platforms (OCC/SCC)
  • Lead solution architecture and delivery, ensuring seamless integrations with ERP/CRM and other systems
  • Drive change management and user adoption, tracking benefits and stakeholder alignment
  • Provide production support and incident/problem resolution for domain processes
  • Ensure compliance controls (ITGC/ITAC) and data migration/release management
  • Guide requirements-to-design translation and maintain design principles (no unnecessary customizations)
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to domain best practices and knowledge base
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize operational performance and value realization

Key requirements
  • Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) or Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SCC) experience
  • Excellent IT delivery, operations, and compliance knowledge
  • Experience managing change management and rollout of projects
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and solutions
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Understanding of best-practice methodologies and ability to influence stakeholders
