Overview

In this role you will act as a trusted technical advisor across the customer lifecycle, translating business needs into ICIS data integrations for analytics and AI initiatives. You will lead technical discovery, design architectures, and guide customers and partners to maximise the value of ICIS data. You will be the technical lead during the sales process, documenting architectures and data flows, and translating customer requirements into practical solutions. This is a hands-on, AI-forward role within a team shaping data platforms and AI-enabled decision-making for customers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical discovery to understand customer objectives and existing tech landscapes, and translate requirements into practical solution approaches
  • Act as the technical lead throughout the sales lifecycle, supporting validation and proofs-of-value to achieve a win
  • Architect the customer AI landscape by identifying integration points where ICIS data underpins AI-driven decision engines
  • Enable the ecosystem by collaborating with customers, partners and system integrators to optimise data consumption and workflows
  • Feed market feedback to product and marketing to influence roadmap and capabilities
  • Document customer architectures, data flows and requirements to maximise ICIS value within clients’ platforms and AI initiatives
Key requirements
  • Customer-facing authority with experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or sales engineering
  • Commercially minded with ability to articulate business impact of technical solutions
  • AI-forward and inquisitive understanding of modern AI ecosystems, comfortable discussing LLMs, AI agents and retrieval architectures
  • Technical credibility with hands-on SQL and Python, and experience with APIs and cloud-based data architectures
  • Experience with data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift) or similar technologies
