Overview
As an AI & Connectivity Specialist at Cisco, you bridge infrastructure, software, and AI to guide enterprise customers through AI-driven operations. You act as a trusted advisor to technical architects and C-suite stakeholders, mapping Cisco’s AI stack to business outcomes. You’ll lead end-to-end AI journeys from ideation to implementation, aligning technical delivery with customer objectives. This role offers the opportunity to shape secure, scalable AI infrastructure and to influence roadmaps through field insights and industry visibility.
Responsibilities- Lead customers from initial AI use case ideation through full-scale implementation with alignment to technical and business goals
- Facilitate strategic ecosystem alignment by coordinating Cisco’s AI stack with ISV and industry partners
- Architect robust, scalable, and secure AI-enabled infrastructure leveraging Cisco solutions
- Design, implement, and drive POV projects to validate performance and business outcomes
- Collaborate with product engineering and represent Cisco at industry events on secure, intelligent AI infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5 years in systems engineering or solution architecture within AI, data center, or cloud infrastructure vendors
- Proven track record in the UK & Ireland enterprise or public sector market
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security frameworks, and API-driven automation
- Excellent communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Experience in driving technical sales engagements and managing complex deal cycles
