Solutions Engineer

In this role you act as a technical advisor to customers and partners, bridging Cisco’s innovations with client business needs. You’ll own the technical relationship, design and present tailored solutions, and help drive long-term business value. You will engage with IT leaders to translate requirements into actionable technical plans and coordinate cross-functional resources to move deals forward. You join a collaborative, high-skill team focused on customer success and market leadership in networking, security, observability, and collaboration.

• Own the technical relationship with customers and partners, influencing technology decisions
• Lead design and presentation of tailored solutions, coordinating virtual support teams
• Identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities and expand Cisco’s footprint in accounts
• Maintain rigorous sales processes, including funnel management and CRM data accuracy
• Provide data-driven feedback on customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive tactics to sales and Business Entities

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of related experience, OR Master’s degree + 3 years, OR PhD + 0 years
• Proven expertise in technical solution design mapped to customer business requirements
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and closing deals in a high-growth environment
• In-depth knowledge of core architectures (Networking, Security, Observability, or Collaboration) with account expansion track record
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to executive stakeholders and technical decision-makers
