Solutions Engineer
Flowla
Revenue software has spent twenty years telling teams what to do. Nobody built the thing that actually does it. That's Flowla. We're a revenue execution platform, and at its centre is REX: an AI agent that works as a player-coach for the sales and customer success teams.
- Seed-stage, London HQ, 13 people, VC funded with a clear runway. 3rd company for the founders, with past exits.
- Customers are B2B revenue teams in tech, finance and healthcare, from scale-ups to enterprise.
- 93% G2 rating. 25–35% faster sales cycles, 10+ hours a week back per rep.
The role
Every deal goes through a scoped proof of concept: the customer sees Flowla working on their own deals before they commit. You own the technical side of that journey end to end, from tailored demo and POC through implementation and go-live, and you stay the customer's technical contact afterward.
The lines are clear. The AE owns the buying process and the contract. The CSM owns rollout, adoption, support and renewals. You own the technical solution and getting it live, working closely with both.
What's in it for you
- Define how we run POCs and implementations, working directly with the founders and the product team.
- Comp that rewards the outcome: competitive base, 75/25 base to variable, uncapped, plus equity. Variable is driven by go-lives, customer activation and the new business you help win.
- Real influence on the product: you'll be the clearest voice Engineering hears about what customers actually need.
- Customers you can see winning: every go-live is a revenue team running deals through REX because you made it work.
- Tooling budget for courses, conferences or anything that levels up your craft.
What you'll do
- Run tailored demos: understand the customer's workflow, build the environment that shows Flowla on their deals, handle the technical questions and scope the integrations.
- Own the POC: agree scope, success criteria and timeline with the customer and AE, build it, run the check-ins, fix what breaks, and present the results and what production needs.
- Own implementation: carry the POC work into production, complete integrations (CRM, email, calls, Slack) and testing, and lead technical go-live within the agreed scope.
- Stay the technical owner post go-live: complex issues, new use cases, and technical validation when the CSM or AE finds an expansion opportunity.
- Feed Product and Engineering with evidence: requirements, recurring objections, product gaps. Pull Engineering in early for novel builds or architecture calls.
You're probably…
- 3+ years in solutions engineering, technical consulting, implementation or a similar customer-facing SaaS role. Ownership matters more than the title.
- Hands‑on with configuring and implementing software for customers: integrations, APIs, data flows.
- Able to turn a customer's goal into a scoped technical plan, build a convincing POC, and explain the results to a CRO and an engineer in the same meeting.
- Good at judging what the product does today, what needs a workaround, and when to bring in Engineering.
- Organised across several customer projects at once, and clear in writing.
Come ready to walk us through a POC you owned and an implementation you took into production.
How success is measured
Repeatable scoped POCs, implementations delivered through go-live, and customers actively using what you built. Not demo count. 75/25 base to variable, uncapped, with variable driven by go-lives, activation and supported new business.
- Location: Hybrid, 3 days in office in London.
