Solutions Engineer - Global Accounts

In this role, you will support a single strategic Global Account in financial services from discovery to technical close, delivering compelling demos and PoCs. You will work closely with the Account Executive to build technical credibility and uncover new use cases across the organization. You’ll develop deep knowledge of the customer’s data environment and align Snowflake solutions to their business goals. This position combines hands-on technical work with strategic account shaping and AI-enabled capabilities to accelerate impact.

• Support end-to-end technical sales engagements for a single strategic Global Account in financial services, from discovery through PoC delivery and technical close
• Create and deliver tailored demonstrations and solution presentations aligned to client data challenges and business objectives
• Design and run PoC engagements for FS use cases including risk analytics, regulatory data platforms, fraud detection, customer intelligence, and AI/ML workloads
• Develop working knowledge of the customer’s data architecture, cloud environment, and tech stack to position Snowflake credibly
• Collaborate with the Account Executive on deal activity, respond to RFPs, support commercial discussions, and help remove technical blockers
• Coordinate with Professional Services, Support, and Product teams to ensure timely delivery of resources
• Build strong relationships with customer data engineers, architects, and technical managers as a trusted point of contact

• 5+ years of pre-sales solution engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting in enterprise B2B tech with exposure to financial services
• Solid understanding of financial services data use cases such as risk management, regulatory reporting, fraud analytics, or customer data platforms
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and delivering live demonstrations of complex data solutions
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, capable of writing and debugging scripts and building PoC pipelines
• Clear, confident communication translating technical concepts to engineering and business audiences within a financial institution
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams within an active sales cycle while maintaining strong client relationships
• Genuine curiosity about AI and data tech, eager to develop expertise in Snowflake’s Cortex AI capabilities in FSI contexts
