Solutions Engineer - SaaS

Solutions Engineer required by our client, a well funded Series C FinTech that is adding three new hires to its London team as it continues to expand across new enterprise markets.

The company has built a complex, API-led SaaS platform used by some of the world’s best-known businesses. This is a technical pre-sales position involving considerably more than delivering standard product demonstrations.

You’ll partner closely with Sales throughout the enterprise deal cycle, leading discovery sessions, understanding the customer’s technical environment and designing solutions around their requirements.

The role will include delivering tailored demonstrations and technical presentations, supporting proof-of-concept activity, responding to RFPs and leading conversations around APIs, integrations, security and implementation.

You’ll also work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are understood and reflected in the wider product roadmap.

The experience they’re looking for includes:

• At least four years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering or technical pre-sales
• Experience working with complex, configurable enterprise SaaS products
• A strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON and software integrations
• Experience leading technical discovery, solution design and tailored demonstrations
• Exposure to enterprise sales cycles involving multiple technical and commercial stakeholders
• A track record of supporting new business and recurring revenue growth
• The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Previous experience within a high-growth or scale-up business
• Knowledge of SQL would be beneficial

The role is hybrid working with 2 days in the central London office. Base salary is between £90k - £120k with an OTE of up to £170k + equity options.
