Overview
In this Sourcing Manager role you will lead end-to-end IT and indirect category sourcing within a leading financial services organisation. You will partner with stakeholders to drive value, optimise costs, and strengthen supplier relationships while ensuring regulatory and governance alignment. The role offers exposure to high-value, business-critical projects and a collaborative team environment. You will shape procurement strategy and influence decision-making to reduce risk and enhance TCO across technology spend.

- Lead strategic sourcing and tender activities across IT and/or Indirect categories
- Deliver commercial value through supplier negotiations and market benchmarking
- Manage supplier onboarding, contract reviews, risk assessments, and performance issues
- Support contract governance and ensure robust commercial controls
- Advise stakeholders on total cost of ownership (TCO) and supplier risk considerations
- Build strong relationships across the business to influence decision-making and drive best practice procurement
- Experience as a Sourcing Manager, Procurement Manager, or Category Manager
- Strong strategic sourcing and category management expertise
- Experience across IT/Technology and/or Indirect spend categories
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of supplier risk management and contract governance
- Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a complex environment
- Track record of delivering procurement savings and commercial benefits
- Experience within a regulated industry or financial services environment would be advantageous but is not essential
