SP Senior Systems Engineer

In this role you will support programme Chief Engineers by performing core systems engineering activities across lifecycle stages. You work within a security-conscious environment, coordinating across programmes and liaising with senior stakeholders. You will apply MBSE and requirements management to develop verification plans, conduct trade studies, and tackle research projects. This position offers exposure to multiple programmes and the chance to shape architectural decisions while maintaining clear, cross-functional collaboration.

• Classical requirements management and development
• Verification planning and MBSE application
• Conduct trade studies and research projects
• Lead and coordinate work-packages across programmes
• Liaise with senior stakeholders (internal and customers)
• Operate in a UK security vetting context and maintain clearance
• Collaborate with software teams using agile practices
• Engage with architecture frameworks and model-based engineering activities

• Higher level qualifications in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Electrical/Electronic or Engineering (Bachelor/Master)
• Experience across the engineering development lifecycle
• Experience/understanding of MBSE across lifecycle stages
• Ability to multi-task and lead work-packages across programmes
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders
• Eligibility for UK National Security Vetting (SC minimum; DV beneficial)
• Experience in classified settings and security-conscious environments (beneficial)
