Specialized Lending Controls Analyst

Support Manulife Bank’s Specialized Lending controls in a hybrid Analyst position focused on operational risk, testing, and regulatory compliance. Toronto is the referenced salary location.

As an Analyst on the Strategy, Governance and Controls team, you will support the first line of defense. The work combines control documentation, Risk and Control Self-Assessments, testing, and reporting. You will help maintain effective controls across Specialized Lending while supporting continuous improvement and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead regulatory and operational control procedures
• Complete RCSAs through data gathering and analysis
• Test controls and identify improvement areas
• Prepare effectiveness, findings, and remediation reports
• Support audits by gathering evidence and responding to inquiries

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
• Five or more years in controls, risk, audit, or analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency
• French and English bilingualism is an asset
