Specialty Risk Underwriting Support Representative

Support Specialty Risk underwriters through accurate data entry, calculations, and information verification with Northbridge Insurance teams. Work in a flexible hybrid model, including home working up to two days weekly.

As an Underwriting Service Representative, you will support underwriters while reporting to the Manager, Underwriting Services. You will also report to the Underwriting Team Leader, Specialty Risk, and communicate with internal underwriting teams. The position provides an opportunity to showcase insurance talent and further an insurance career. Success requires detail orientation, accuracy, efficiency, multitasking, and strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and qualify information with underwriters
• Complete data entry and data calculations
• Process internal and external correspondence
• Handle requests received by underwriting
• Deliver customer service while multitasking

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or insurance experience
• Intermediate-level Excel skills
• Ability to learn new programs
• Active pursuit of a CIP designation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
