Overview

A well-established pediatric early intervention and preschool therapy organization serving Western New York is expanding its clinical team to meet urgent demand for services. The organization is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide itinerant, play-based therapy to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers across homes, daycares, preschools, and clinic settings, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of educational and clinical specialists.

What you'll do

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to children from birth through age 5 using a child-led, play-based approach
  • Deliver itinerant services across a variety of settings, including homes, daycares, preschools, and clinics
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educational and clinical specialists to deliver individualized care
  • Build meaningful connections with children and families to support developmental progress
  • Manage a localized caseload within an assigned territory
  • Participate in continuing education, completing a minimum of 10 CEUs annually
  • Create and maintain a flexible, self-directed schedule, Monday through Friday, daytime hours

Required qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
  • Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)

Preferred qualifications

  • ASHA CCCs preferred
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply

Compensation and benefits

  • $30–$60 per hour, fee-for-service compensation based on full-time or part-time schedule
