Spreadsheet and Data Specialist

In this role you will build and maintain a governed spreadsheet asset that underpins the application estate data. You will implement validation, controlled fields and clear instructions to ensure data quality and usability. You will create reporting views for risk and lifecycle insights and document data structures for handover to the target tooling platform. You will collaborate with the Data Administrator and BAs to align with defined data standards, supporting the Data Asset Intelligence program.

• Build and maintain the governed spreadsheet asset aligned to the data model
• Implement validation rules, controlled fields and formatting to improve data quality
• Create reporting views for risk, ownership and lifecycle insights
• Document data structure, rules and operating instructions for handover
• Prepare structured exports to support migration to the target tooling platform
• Collaborate with the Data Administrator and BAs to ensure alignment with data standards

• Experience with spreadsheet-based data assets and governance
• Ability to model data and define validation rules
• Experience creating reporting views/dashboards in spreadsheet environments
• Strong documentation skills for data structures and operating instructions
• Ability to prepare data exports for migration
