Overview

In this role you will shape the future of SQD governance at McLaren Automotive. You will implement scalable processes and governance structures to improve accountability and performance across supplier quality. You’ll drive digital transformation, leveraging automation and new technologies to boost efficiency. You will partner with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to support current programmes and future launches. Responsibilities
  • Lead the transformation and standardisation of SQD processes to create a scalable framework for future needs
  • Develop and embed governance structures to drive visibility and performance across supplier quality activities
  • Champion digital transformation by identifying opportunities for automation, AI and new technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks and ensure delivery across series production and new models
  • Serve as the trusted governance contact, delivering clear reporting, escalation management and progress tracking to senior stakeholders
Key requirements
  • Experience in supplier quality, process governance, business transformation or operational excellence in automotive or advanced manufacturing
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional improvement programmes and delivering lasting change
  • Strong understanding of supplier quality methodologies and standards (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP)
  • Experience driving digital improvement initiatives with automation, data-driven decision making and emerging technologies
