SQL and Power BI define this Data Analyst position with Canadian Tire’s FGL Sports division. Work across enterprise data sources supporting reporting and analysis.

As part of a data management analyst team, you will support Data Architecture through query development and reporting systems. The position covers data extraction, validation, modeling, and business analysis across Dynamics 365, Azure, and I Hub ingestion. You will also contribute to data solutions and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize and create SQL queries for business requests
  • Build and manage Excel and Power BI reports
  • Present data from multiple enterprise database sources
  • Support data validations across integrated platforms
  • Document processes and recommend automation improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Three or more years in data analytics
  • Strong SQL, ETL, Power BI, and Azure knowledge
  • Advanced Excel formulas and macros experience
  • Excellent written and oral French and English
