Overview

In this role you will contribute to the Estates Intelligence BI team by developing and maintaining the Reporting Data Warehouse, building data pipelines, and delivering data-driven insights for estates and facilities challenges. You will work with SQL, Python in Fabric Notebooks, and Power BI to enable informed decisions for internal stakeholders and clients. The position involves deploying, testing, and documenting changes, while continuously improving performance, scalability, and data quality. You’ll collaborate across teams and stakeholders, driving governance-compliant delivery and adopting best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop SQL queries, stored procedures and views for data transformations
  • Create Power BI datasets, DAX measures, and calculation logic to satisfy reporting needs
  • Configure refresh schedules and gateway connections
  • Tune model performance and validate data accuracy across reports and dashboards
  • Document test results and remediate defects
  • Prepare release notes and maintain technical documentation for changes
  • Promote changes through Dev/Test/Prod environments under governance
  • Monitor daily pipeline runs and troubleshoot failures
  • Identify improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, maintainability and scalability
  • Track new Power BI and Fabric features and adopt relevant best practices
Key requirements
  • Strong SQL skills using SSMS and Visual Studio
  • Proficient Python in Fabric Notebooks
  • Experience with DevOps build, release, and deployment processes
  • Proven Power BI experience (Desktop & Service) with Fabric features (Data Engineering, Factory, Science)
  • Familiar with Power Suite
  • Analytical ability to use data for client reporting
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills
  • Eligible for security clearance
  • experience in estates management reporting or similar environment (preferred)
  • Knowledge of CAFM systems or Concept Evolution (preferred)
