Overview

In this role you will monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts within CrowdStrike’s global SOC. You’ll handle incidents across Windows, Mac, and Linux, perform malware analysis and remediation, and help improve detection and response processes. You’ll communicate findings to customer management and contribute to thought leadership through public-facing content. You’ll also mentor junior analysts and help guide internal security practices, all within a mission-driven culture that prioritizes customer impact and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts in real time
  • Handle incidents across Windows, Mac, and Linux
  • Perform malware and forensic analysis
  • Remediate malware and malicious activity remotely
  • Improve incident detection, triage, and countermeasures
  • Produce clear written and verbal findings for customers
  • Contribute to thought leadership via blogs, podcasts, and public speaking
  • Manage internal programs or teams and mentor junior analysts
  • Provide quality assurance and oversight for colleagues’ work
  • Support advancement of security processes and procedures
Key requirements
  • Incident handling experience with targeted threats
  • Computer forensic analysis background
  • Systems administration knowledge to implement countermeasures
  • Network forensic analysis skills
  • Malware analysis ability (static/dynamic)
  • Incident remediation planning for targeted attacks
  • Network operations/secure architecture understanding
  • Programming/scripting experience (PowerShell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, .NET)
  • Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security or related field (BA/BS or MA/MS)
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Leadership and mentoring capability
  • Ability to work under high pressure
  • PowerShell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, .NET
  • Windows, Mac, Linux OS familiarity
  • Malware analysis (static/dynamic)
