Sr Consultant - AML Internal Audit

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking experienced AML Internal Audit professionals to support a major financial services client in Toronto. We are building a team of both Senior Consultants and Managers to lead and execute enterprise-wide AML, Financial Crimes, and Regulatory Compliance audit initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in Internal Audit (3rd Line of Defense) and AML/ATF compliance within the banking sector who are looking to work on high-impact regulatory and audit engagements.

Skills and Requirements

• Required QualificationsMinimum 3+ years of Internal Audit experience within a banking or financial services environment (3rd Line of Defense).
• Previous experience with major Canadian banks (RBC, TD, CIBC, BMO, Scotiabank, National Bank, etc.).
• Minimum 1+ years of AML, Financial Crimes, or AML Compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of AML/ATF regulatory frameworks and control environments.
• Knowledge of Canadian AML regulations, including:FINTRACPCMLTFA and related regulationsOSFI guidanceAML and Sanctions compliance requirementsExperience conducting internal audits, control testing,
• Preferred QualificationsCAMS, CFCS, CIA, CPA, or other relevant professional designation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience auditing AML programs within a Canadian financial institution.
• Exposure to enterprise Financial Crimes, Fraud, Sanctions, or Regulatory Remediation programs.
• Consulting experience supporting large financial services clients is considered an asset.
