Sr. Implementation Specialist

Nuvollo is hiring a Sr. Implementation Specialist to design, deploy, and support complex infrastructure, cloud, and security solutions across client environments. This is a Tier 3 escalation role that combines hands‑on implementation, migration leadership, and mentorship — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced MSP environment and wants real ownership of client outcomes.

You'll work across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, virtualization, networking, storage, backup, and security — partnering with project and service teams to deliver secure, resilient solutions for clients across the Toronto and NJ/NY metro areas.

What You'll Do

• Provide Tier 3 support for complex issues escalated by L1/L2 teams.
• Design, deploy, and administer Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid cloud solutions (tenant config, licensing, identity, authentication, access controls).
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, storage, virtualization platforms, backup, and M365 environments.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DFS, Remote Desktop Services , and core infrastructure services.
• Provision and support SAN/NAS storage, backups, replication, DR, and business continuity solutions.
• Implement security and compliance tooling including Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview .
• Lead root cause analysis and long‑term corrective actions for recurring incidents.
• Deliver remote and onsite implementation support across client environments.
• Use PowerShell to automate administration, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal training and documentation.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for critical incidents and after‑hours events.

What You Bring

• 5+ years in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
• 5+ years hands‑on with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DFS, DNS.
• 5+ years with virtualization platforms — VMware, Hyper‑V, Azure VMs .
• 5+ years implementing and migrating Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Endpoint Management).
• Experience with tenant‑to‑tenant migrations (BitTitan, Datto, native M365 tools).
• Strong knowledge of M365 Defender, Purview , and related security/compliance tech.
• PowerShell scripting experience; familiarity with RMM tools like ConnectWise .
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer‑service skills.

Nice to Have

• Advanced M365 / Azure certifications
• Linux, SAP, or SQL administration experience
• Security+ certification
• Experience with Cisco DUO, SonicWall, FortiNet
