Overview

In this role you will build and operate modern microservices, blending application development with infrastructure and DevOps. You will work in a hybrid London setup, shaping scalable backend services and responsive UIs while managing middleware and automation tasks. The position offers impact through hands-on work across Java backend, frontend interfaces, and server administration. This is an urgent hire where you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, scalable software that drives business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and test highly scalable, event-driven microservices
  • Develop responsive, dynamic user interfaces
  • Manage, configure, and fine-tune WebSphere and IHS web servers across environments
  • Automate operational tasks using Ansible and Python/Shell scripts
Key requirements
  • Core Java (8+), Spring Boot, Microservices
  • ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS (Angular a plus)
