Overview

In this Senior Manager role, you guide multiple agile software teams and provide technical coaching across the organization. You will shape AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC automation to accelerate delivery, quality, and operational outcomes, while upholding secure handling and governance. You’ll influence budgets and technical designs to align with business requirements and risk controls. You collaborate with stakeholders to anticipate dependencies and ensure compliant, scalable data-enabled solutions. Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to software engineering teams on daily tasks and outputs
  • Set expectations for team output, practices, and cross-team collaboration
  • Lead adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC/TLM automation
  • Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to enhance automation value and capacity initiatives
  • Anticipate inter-team dependencies to deliver products aligned with business needs
  • Manage stakeholder relationships while adhering to compliance, SLAs, and business requirements
  • Coach teams on responsible AI adoption, including validation, data handling, and reuse patterns
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
  • Proven end-to-end delivery of data products using Python and/or Spark and Databricks
  • Experience building data-intensive software applications
  • Experience managing technologists
  • Experience leading responsible AI adoption across engineering teams with governance, security, and data sensitivity considerations
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methods including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems
