Overview

In this role you lead and contribute to an agile team building trusted, market-leading technology for Equities Sales and Trading Technology. You drive high-quality production code, secure architecture, and scalable delivery to deliver business impact. You guide design decisions, mentor others, and promote firmwide SDLC practices, while shaping new technologies. This position offers the chance to work across cutting-edge domains in a fast-paced financial services context.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others’ code
  • Influence product design, functionality, and operational processes
  • Act as a subject matter expert in one or more focus areas
  • Promote firmwide software development lifecycle frameworks and best practices
  • Encourage adoption of leading-edge technologies across the team
  • Foster a diverse, inclusive team culture
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
  • 5+ years of applied software experience
  • Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced in one or more programming languages
  • Deep knowledge of at least one technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI, ML, mobile)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Practical cloud native experience
  • Background in CS, CE, Math, or related technical field

  • Modern front-end development practices
  • Experience with AG Grid or similar data grid libraries
