Sr. Software Engineer

In this role you will design and optimize Meltwater’s API, export features, and MCP services to enable scalable data delivery. You’ll work with product managers and senior engineers to shape high-throughput data pipelines and robust export pipelines. You contribute to streaming architectures, webhook integrations, and API governance at enterprise scale. You’ll help bring Meltwater’s AI and platform capabilities to external workflows, with a strong emphasis on observability and reliability.

• Design, develop, and optimize API, export and MCP features
• Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers to define functionality and architect high-throughput data pipelines
• Build robust export pipelines, streaming architectures, webhook integrations and MCP servers
• Maintain observability and reliability using Coralogix, CloudWatch, and Grafana
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for owned services

• 4+ years of software engineering with a backend focus
• Proficiency in Golang (required)
• Experience with designing resilient REST APIs and cloud-native apps (AWS preferred)
• Solid knowledge of Postgres, Redis, and ideally DynamoDB
• Experience with microservice architecture and backend design principles
• Familiarity with AI-augmented development workflows (e.g., Claude, Codex, Copilot)
