As a Senior Software Engineer in Investment Research Technology, you help shape a modern tech platform that powers investment research. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and support solutions that integrate Generative AI and large language models into research workflows. You’ll contribute to scalable, end-to-end software across web, services, and infrastructure, with a focus on performance and maintainability. This role offers impact at the intersection of technology and investment outcomes, within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll join a team dedicated to delivering investment excellence for clients and stakeholders.

- Participate in architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment and support of investment research solutions
- Review and qualify business requirements, functional specs, use cases, and test plans with business and analytics teams
- Develop new software components across full stack (services, web and mobile, infrastructure, back-end)
- Coordinate test plans and provide support during user acceptance testing
- Modify existing systems to add functionality and improve performance and maintainability
- Author design and support documentation
- 5 years designing and developing web applications and services using JavaScript or other enterprise technologies (e.g., Java, .Net)
- 5 years building complex web services using REST, TypeScript, JavaScript/NodeJS, Jest, Java, Python or related technologies
- 5 years developing web apps with HTML5, CSS and modern UI frameworks (React or Angular)
- Experience with Artifactory, GIT, Jenkins CI
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies
- Intermediate SQL experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with leveraging AI in SDLC
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work in a production environment
- BS or BA in computer science, math, physics, statistics or related field
- Effective communication with non-technical audiences
