Sr. Software Engineer - AI/ML - AI Platform

As a Senior AI Engineer on Addepar's AI Platform, you will architect and lead the delivery of AI-native products that power the platform. You’ll own end-to-end AI capabilities—from LLMs and agentic systems to production-grade services—ensuring robust, scalable performance. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate strategic goals into technical reality while iterating rapidly on metrics and feedback. This role offers the chance to shape AI-driven wealth tech at scale and influence cross-functional product delivery.

• Drive end-to-end delivery of AI-native products from prototype to scalable production services
• Architect and productionize core AI platform components (LLMs, vector databases, prompt tuning)
• Develop agentic frameworks and cross-platform tool use capabilities
• Enforce technical discipline and operational excellence across AI products
• Iterate quickly on AI products based on performance and user feedback
• Evaluate and adopt new AI technologies to stay at the frontier
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to translate strategic goals into technical solutions

• Extensive backend software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, gRPC, AWS, Kubernetes
• Proven track record shipping production-grade systems
• Experience shipping or building AI-native products or strong personal AI projects
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or quantitative field
• Strong ownership mindset and bias for action
