Sr. Software Engineer II - Cloud Detection Engine (Hybrid, London)

In this role you will design, build, and scale foundational data, content, and execution services across CrowdStrike products. You will shape a high-performance platform handling internet-scale data streams to support real-time detection. You’ll collaborate across teams, mentor others, and push architecture and performance improvements in a fast-paced, autonomy‑driven environment. • Lead backend engineering efforts from prototypes to large-scale apps across CrowdStrike products
• Build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks and automate cyber threat intel production at global scale
• Collaborate across multiple teams to brainstorm, define, and build solutions
• Stay at the forefront of technology and raise the team's technical IQ
• Mentor and be mentored on web, backend, and data storage technologies and system design

• Degree in Computer Science (or professional experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems)
• Understanding of scalability and distributed systems (sharding, partitioning, concurrency)
