Overview
Senior Software Engineer at Addepar will help build Navigator and related tools within a growing AI-first product ecosystem for institutional investors. You will collaborate across product, design, and GTM teams to deliver innovative liquidity risk projections and integrate with Addepar’s data and AI platform. The role combines hands-on development with shaping cross-product solutions for large-scale clients, contributing to global expansion. You’ll work in a fast, collaborative environment with meaningful impact on investment workflows.
Responsibilities- Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, designers, GTM teams, program managers, researchers, and engineers to deliver client-focused solutions
- Conceive, develop and deliver novel solutions within a sophisticated domain (finance, liquidity risk)
- Build across Navigator and other parts of Addepar’s product ecosystem, aligning shared concerns for clients
- Learn and advance within a challenging, growing segment of the financial industry
- Extensive professional software engineering experience building web applications
- Proficiency in Python and common libraries
- Experience with HTTP, REST, and web APIs best practices
- Cloud experience (AWS or similar)
- Databases and data lakes experience (SQL, NoSQL, Databricks)
- Experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS
- Experience with AI agentic coding
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Nice-to-have: Java backends
