Sr. Software Engineer - Portfolio Data Workflows

As a Backend Software Engineer in the Portfolio Data Products team, you’ll maintain and evolve critical API services powering our financial data ecosystem. You’ll help modernize architecture to support European expansion and ensure regulatory compliance. You’ll influence architecture, roadmaps, and cross-functional collaboration to scale the platform for global clients. This role offers technical leadership opportunities in shaping how clients interact with financial data.

• Build and scale API services to support the European customer base
• Advance financial models for products like structured notes, derivatives, and international alts
• Contribute to architecture designs, product roadmap, and code reviews
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Be part of an expanding, cross-functional organization and growing global customer base

• Degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience building backend services in a professional environment
• Experience with Java or a similar OO programming language
• Experience with SQL, Elasticsearch, AWS or JavaScript is nice-to-have
• Demonstrable knowledge of using AI in a professional engineering environment
• Understanding of development best practices and agile teamwork
• Interest or experience in the financial industry or wealth management
